DocuWeek Film Festival: Spirit of the Marathon

August 5, 2008 from press release / "Spirit of the Marathon" has been invited to participate in the prestigious DocuWeek Film Festival, which will take place in both Los Angeles and New York during the month of August. This festival will qualify the film to be considered for an Academy Award! Furthermore, the International Documentary Association selects only 20 films each year and in 2007 from the 20 selected, five were nominated for an Oscar---locations and times are as follows:

New York: August 8th - August 14th, IFC Center, 323 6th Avenue, Screens at 3:15 PM and 8:30 PM daily, tickets can be purchased at www.ifccenter.com or the theater box office

Los Angeles: August 22nd - August 28th, ArcLight Sherman Oaks, Screening times TBD, tickets can be purchased at www.documentary.org/content/docuweek or the theater box office.
