Minneapolis/St. Paul - Team USA Minnesota's Meghan Armstrong won the Strands 5k in Corvallis, Oregon, on Oct. 24. Her time was 16:23 (second place was 16:32). Armstrong returned to a familiar area for the race having gone to high school in Tualatin, Oregon, just outside of Portland, before running collegiately for the University of Iowa.
