INDIANAPOLIS - The USA Track & Field Foundation is currently accepting youth grant applications from interested clubs and organizations for its final round of 2010 youth grants, announced USATF Foundation Executive Director Tom Jackovic. The youth grants typically fund such expenses as uniforms, travel expenses, equipment and entry fees.
Interested parties may fill out the USATF Foundation grant application online at www.usatffoundation.org.
The deadline for submitting an application is October 15. Grant award winners are expected to be announced in early November.
The USATF Foundation provides a means to attract and guide funds to new and innovative track and field programs with an emphasis on providing opportunities for youth athletes, emerging elite athletes, distance training centers and anti-doping education. The Foundation depends on donations from its Board of Directors and from generous fans of track & field.
