Hendrick Ramaala, " I have practiced very well. The weather conditions will not be good(7C-44F and rain 80%). But all the athletes are under the same condition. I am to run my best."
Yemane Tsegay, "I have prepared for this race for 4 months and in good condtions I hope to run under 2.06. My personal best in 2.06:30 and I want to run my personal record. I have prepared in the cold high altitude of Ethiopia, even if the conditions are bad, I want to break the course record(2.07.34 Antonio Pena 2001). I will under the course record."

Hendrick Ramaala, "It's an easy way to get out of poverty, it's not only the Kenyans, we have alot great runners that we appreciate in South Africa, Joshiah Thugwane and Gert Thys.
Charles Munyeki, "Kenyans are very strong, but not only Kenya, but all Africans train very well, they can usually focus very well, not specific training methods, since altitude could be the secret."
Yemane Tsegay, "Alot of great athletes, Ethiopia has high altitude, since you are very young and come from villages they are use to running long distance. Our history has many great runners and they have alot of respect, that is the reason for Abebe Bikila, Momo Wolder and Haile Gebrselassie."
